The 1565 and 1566 Hi/Shear® models surpass 2700 pounds. The SDC design combines aesthetics, high security and performance. It may be concealed in the mortise of a frame header. Architectural aesthetics and integrity is maintained. The Hi/Shear® models shown are designed for quick release when shear tabs are set for use with SDC model PSB500 push bar. Recommended to provide superior failsafe holding force and esthetics for most types of doors, including high profile frameless glass doors.
